How To Blog During An Important Meeting Or When You’re On Vacation

A good habit for anyone who is running a blog is to have at least 1 new post daily, no matter what. This means that visitors will keep on returning and ultimately gives you more traffic. However, there are times when you simply cannot have the time to write a new post. Maybe you are..

Enjoying yourself on vacation in a foreign country
Going to a critical and very important meeting with a client
Moving house and don’t have internet connection for 2 weeks
Going somewhere and won’t have access to your blog

These times can be hard but with the click of a few buttons, you can arrange your posts to go on and get published at certain times. Most importantly, it’s free and you don’t need to download anything. (Unless you are NOT on WordPress.)

WordPress Time Stamp Feature

With the WordPress time stamp feature, you can easily write a few posts and then set a time or date for when they should get published. This allows you to go on vacation and never have to worry about not writing new posts. This is a great feature and even this post right now was published using the time stamp. I like to create several posts which clear me for weeks and it is always worth it – as you get more time off, and at the same time you have no worries of your blog not getting updated.

At the moment, I only know for a fact that WordPress users can do this. You simply set a date, and time and your post will get published when you want it to. It’s really simple and it definitely saves you a lot of time. You can easily write 20 posts and set it to be published each day. This gives you 20 days of relaxation and freedom, while WordPress is doing the hard bit for you by publishing everything.
